Final Reflection

Amberlyn Easterly  Deana Nall  Composition II 01 August 2022 Final Reflection The first writing assignment I was assigned was the academic success proposal paper. The purpose was to describe my academic struggles and list solutions that I had to provide evidence to support. First, I started this paper by creating an outline that consisted of each academic struggle and the solutions I found to solve them. I then was able to use each section of my outline to form my paper. This made it very easy for me to transfer my information over to my final draft. My introduction introduced my struggles and in detail, I described how each one affected me academically. After my introduction, I wrote information about each of my solutions. My solutions consisted of credible evidence I thoroughly examined before determining which ones I could abide by. After explaining my academic struggles and potential solutions I cited my sources on the works cited page. Once I completed this pap...

This is my rough draft from assignment 2. We were required to search through academic journals to provide evidence of how each literary device was used throughout the poem we chose. I chose the poem “Because I Could Not Stop For Death” by Emily Dickinson. I had minor errors within my draft which consisted of two ways I cited my sources incorrectly.  Instructor Feedback: I updated my rough draft to correct the errors my instructor advised me to. I highlighted each error and stated how i corrected it.  Amberlyn Easterly Professor Nall  Composition II 18 July 2022 Abstract The literary devices found within the poem “Because I Could Not Stop for Death” by Emily Dickinson will be the topic of my paper. Invention Technique: Outline  I wrote an outline for assignment 3. I used this outline to help structure my paper. This outline helped me create a plan for my final draft.  Invention Technique: Detailed Notes I created bullet points to help visualize the information of each literary device I listed in assignment 3. I was able to jot down a small description of how each literary device was used by Emily Dickinson in the poem “Because I Could Not Stop For Death.” By using the bullet points I was able to get an idea of the type of information I needed to include in this assignment.  Rough Draft and Feedback The purpose of this assignment was to explain the use of the literary devices Emily Dickinson used within the poem “Because I Could Not Stop For Death.” To my surprise my rough draft consisted of small errors. Two of my e...

Academic Success Proposal: Final Draft

This is an academic success proposal. I wrote this paper during my first week of Composition II. The purpose of this paper is to explain my academic struggles and to provide credible evidence to support my solutions. The topic is procrastination and solutions for how I will deal with it.  Amberlyn Easterly Mrs. Deana Nell  Comp II 12 July 2022 A precise description of the problem There are two main things I struggle with daily regarding my academic goals. The first thing is the fact I do not manage my time efficiently, and the other is I procrastinate. These two problems play a significant role when it comes to my academic goals, and both could potentially set me up for failure. I work full-time as well as being a full-time student. Lately, it has become extremely hard to balance both of those duties. Between working the hours 7 am to 5:30 pm, I do not get home until 6 pm every night. That roughly leaves me with 4 hours to complete school work...
